Hi, I’m Lily, the founder of Dominate Social!

My journey into social media marketing started with a love for art and entrepreneurship at a young age. In high school, I turned my passion into a business, selling my art through social media. That hustle continued through my time at DePauw University, where I discovered the power of digital marketing. I mastered skills in graphic design, marketing analytics, writing and communications. I was able to put these skills to use in the classroom, and as a digital marketing intern and social media manager.

What sets me apart from other social media agency owners is my unique blend of creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and hands-on experience, starting from a young age. My journey—from marketing and selling my art on social media to graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Digital Marketing—demonstrates a deep understanding of both the artistic and strategic sides of social media.

As a collegiate athlete balancing a million passions, I didn’t plan on pursuing social media marketing as a career—until 2020 made me pause and reflect. I realized this wasn’t just a hobby; it was my calling. Immediately after graduation, I turned that realization into action.

Today, Dominate Social is the result of years of hard work, passion, and dedication. I get to use my skills to help businesses grow, expand their reach, and connect with their audiences through social media. Every day, I’m doing what I love—helping businesses thrive and making dreams a reality through the power of digital marketing!

Hi, I’m Karly Bernhard, and I’m thrilled to be a part of the Dominate Social team as a Social Media Specialist. I started as an intern for Dominate Social and after months of learning, growing, and collaborating, I transitioned into a full-time role in August!

I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, double majoring in Marketing and Management. My academic background gave me a solid foundation in understanding how businesses operate, but what really excites me is the creative and strategic side of marketing, especially in the world of social media. It’s such a dynamic space, and I love how it allows brands to connect directly with their audiences in meaningful ways.

One of my favorite things about work is the opportunity to collaborate and be part of a team. I’ve always believed that the best ideas come from working together, and I’m always looking for new challenges that push me to grow, both personally and professionally. Whether it’s crafting campaigns or understanding the analytics, I’m passionate about finding ways to help businesses stand out and thrive online.
